BOTOX ® is a safe and effective treatment to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
BOTOX ® is injected in small amounts under the skin, it works by targeting the muscles to temporarily restrict their movement. As a result, the overlying skin repairs resulting in a smoother appearance. Your skin has a more youthful texture with a reduction in the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections (commonly known as Botox®) is one of the most popular medical
aesthetics treatments globally.

Botox® reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, temporarily relaxing the facial muscle through a small minimally invasive injection. The most common uses of Botox® are to reduce the signs of ageing and fine lines on the forehead, frown or crow's feet (these are the three areas).

Anti-wrinkle treatments can last anywhere between 3 to 6 months, but each individual is different, and results vary from patient to patient. Some report results lasting a lot longer and others need a more regular top up.

There are many reasons why people choose dermal filers, perhaps to reverse the signs of aging, correct an asymmetry or to add structure.
Our skin naturally produces a substance called Hyaluronic Acid (H.A) which keeps the skin youthful in appearance. However, the production of H.A decreases with age, dermal fillers increase the hydration, elasticity and volume of the skin (including the lips).
Amy uses only the most clinically effective products to ensure you get the best results, typically this is any of the Juvéderm® range, but if you have had a different filler that you are happy with then please ask.
Does the procedure hurt?
Amy is committed to ensuring discomfort is kept to a minimum, her background in dentistry means she is well equipped in the management of nervous or anxious patients.
Some procedures benefit from the use of a canula whilst others a fine needle is used to place the product. Local anaesthetic can be given in the form of:

The Juvéderm® filler product also contains anaesthetic.
Results of dermal fillers are evident immediately, softening of lines, wrinkles and an increase in the plumpness of the lips is instant. There will be some redness and swelling which is temporary and should fade quickly.
